Dr. Ankesh is an expert in Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on Rock Engineering, Underground Structures, and Slope stability. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Trichy, M.Tech in Rock Engineering and Underground Structures from IIT Delhi, and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Prior to joining IIT Palakkad, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Geotechnical Division at SVNIT Surat from Oct 2019 to Dec 2022. His research interests include Rock Engineering, Petroleum-related Rock Mechanics, Blast/Impact Loading, Petrology, Numerical Methods, and Machine Foundation.
