Launched in August 2011, the School of Engineering (SOE) is a pioneering effort in the field of engineering under the aegis of the Shiv Nadar University.

The School of Engineering aims to provide an international ambience in a local setting with innovative and engaging teaching methods, international guest speakers and key partnerships in research. The institute encourages group learning and provides value-added hard and soft skills workshops along with key internships each summer.

Located at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and set amidst an integrated, self-sustaining, fully residential green campus, the School of Engineering aims to combine research and education at the undergraduate level itself. Drawing upon the rich experience of the SNF in setting up the SSN College of Engineering, the SSN School of Management and Computer Applications and the SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering (in a tie-up with Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA) near Chennai, the School of Engineering has been designed to help students get a well-rounded academic and co-curricular experience.

The School of Engineering currently offers Undergraduate and Doctoral programmes in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The School of Engineering also provides meritorious applicants with scholarships, internships and other opportunities to enable them to get the finest education.
